Karthi met with injuries in the sets of Sardar 2

Kollywood star Karthi is known for his intense and breathtaking performances. According to the latest, it is coming out that Karthi suffered injuries while shooting for his upcoming entertainer Sardar2. It is coming out that the shooting got halted after these developments.

The film is directed by PS.Mithran and is the sequel to the hit film Sardar. Sardar 2 shooting was happening in Mysore and Karthi was shooting for important scenes when the accident happened. The makers halted the shoot and shifted Karthi to the nearby hospital.

On the advice of doctors, Karthi will be taking rest for a week and the entire film unit is now returning back to Chennai. The shooting will commence once Karthi recovers from his injuries. 80% of Sardar 2 shoot has been completed. The makers recently shot Sardar 2 climax in the extravagantly erected sets in Chennai which featured Karthi and SJ.Suryah with stunt choreographer Chethan Ramshi D'Souza choreographing breathtaking stunts.

Sardar 2 features Karthi and Rajisha Vijayan reprising their roles with SJ Suryah, Malavika Mohanan and Ashika Ranganath  joining the cast. Yuvan Shankar Raja is the music director for the film.
