Chiranjeevi shares the golden moments of his first award. Telugu cinema legend Chiranjeevi recently marked a momentous occasion: 50 years in the film industry. To commemorate this milestone, the "Indra" actor shared a nostalgic throwback photo from his college days, taking fans on a trip down memory lane.

The black-and-white image features a youthful Chiranjeevi sporting stylish sunglasses and a light mustache, a far cry from the iconic star he is today. Accompanying the photo, he reminisced about his early acting experiences, specifically his first drama, "Raajeenaama," based on "Rangasthalam" written by Kona Govinda Rao. This experience, he shared, marked the beginning of his acting journey and earned him his first recognition as a performer.

"Boss kuda ma Yn college student anna mata" (Boss was a student at our college too), one fan exclaimed, while another echoed, "Appdu hod: ma student Gems andi" (He was a gem student back then).

Earlier this year, Chiranjeevi was honored with the Padma Vibhushan award for his outstanding contributions to Indian cinema, further cementing his place in the annals of film history.

Currently, Chiranjeevi is busy with his upcoming mega socio-fantasy film "Vishwambhara." The first teaser of the film recently released, showcasing Chiranjeevi as the savior of a dystopian world, creating immense buzz and anticipation for its release. While the film was initially slated for a January 10, 2025 release, the makers are likely to push the release date forward to avoid a clash with his son, Ram Charan's, upcoming film "Game Changer," which has already taken the Sankranti slot.
