Actor Karthi recently found himself amidst controversy when he labeled the Tirupati Laddu issue as "sensitive" and declined to comment further in an event of his upcoming film Sathyam Sundaram at Hyderabad. During a press interaction at a Vijayawada temple, Pawan Kalyan expressed his discontent with Karthi's comments, stating that the Tirumala Laddu should not be mocked and that actors should think carefully before speaking about it. He emphasized that Sanathana Dharma deserves respect and that such comments are unacceptable.

Karthi swiftly apologized to Pawan Kalyan, tweeting, "Dear @PawanKalyan sir, with deep respects to you, I apologize for any unintended misunderstanding caused. As a humble devotee of Lord Venkateswara, I always hold our traditions dear. Best regards." This apology came after Pawan Kalyan's warning that the public would not forgive such disrespect.
