The Andhra Pradesh government has given a significant boost to Devara, NTR's highly anticipated pan-India action drama, by approving a hike in ticket prices and additional show timings for the film at single screens and multiplexes across the state.
NTR Arts, one of the production houses behind Devara, expressed their gratitude on X, thanking AP Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu and Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan for their timely support.
In response, Pawan Kalyan took to X, stating, "The NDA Government in AP, under the leadership of Hon'ble CM Sri @ncbn garu, will always strive for the best for the Telugu film industry, regardless of political affiliations." He added, "I personally understand the struggles faced by filmmakers and actors during the YCP regime." Pawan concluded by extending his best wishes to the Devara team, stating, "I wish you all the best for your film's release."
Devara, featuring NTR alongside Bollywood stars Saif Ali Khan and Janhvi Kapoor, is directed by Koratala Siva and produced by Nandamuri Kalyan Ram, Mikkilineni Sudhakar, and Kosaraju Hari Krishna. The film is set for a grand worldwide release on September 27th.
This government support is expected to significantly benefit the film's theatrical run in the state.
