The actress candidly shared details about her journey, including a shocking incident where she was replaced from a Prabhas film after just four days of shooting.

Recalling the incident, Rakul shared that she was completely unaware of the industry's workings at the time and was simply told she was being replaced without any prior notice. However, this occurred before her debut in the Telugu film "Venkatadri Express."

“I was replaced from a film after shooting for four days, before I made my debut. This was a Telugu film with Prabhas. But sometimes, when you don't know much about the industry or its way of functioning, you don't take it to your heart. There is a beauty in innocence and naivety. I was so naive, I thought, 'Oh, ok they have removed me? No problem, maybe this wasn't meant for me, I will do something else," she shared.

Rakul rose to fame with "Venkatadri Express" in 2013, after her debut in the Telugu film "Keratam" in 2011. Based on her timeline, the Prabhas film she was replaced from could be either Mr Perfect, Darling or Rebel. However, she did not disclose the film's title.  According to CineJosh sources it is known that the movie is Mr Perfect.

Rakul's candid revelation highlights the often-unseen complexities of the film industry and provides a glimpse into the resilience and adaptability required for success. Despite this early setback, she went on to become one of the most sought-after actresses in the South Indian film industry.
