Rashmika Mandanna has begun filming her role in the upcoming movie 'Sikandar', opposite Bollywood superstar Salman Khan. The actress shared a short video from the first day of shooting on her Instagram, showcasing a flower bouquet and expressing her excitement. 'Sikandar' marks the first collaboration between Salman and Rashmika, directed by AR Murugadoss and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala.
The film is scheduled for release on Eid 2025, a festival typically reserved for Salman Khan's films. Rashmika recently revealed that she suffered a minor accident and has been recovering while enjoying laddoos. Meanwhile, she has a busy lineup of films, including reprising her role as Srivalli in 'Pushpa 2: The Rule', 'Kubera', and 'Chhaava' opposite Vicky Kaushal.
In 'Chhaava', Rashmika plays Yeshubai Bhosle, wife of Sambhaji Maharaj, alongside Akshaye Khanna, Ashutosh Rana, and Divya Dutta. The film is set to debut on December 6, 2025, coinciding with the release of 'Pushpa 2', making it a rare occurrence of an actress's two films clashing at the box office.
