In a recent interview, she stated that while nepotism undeniably affects opportunities, it's not unique to the film industry. “Opportunities can be snatched away from you in any other industry, like the medical field,” she said, adding, “I think that’s life, the sooner you understand this, the better it is for your progress.”

Addressing the potential for bitterness, Rakul emphasized her choice to move forward instead of dwelling on lost opportunities. "Maybe these projects weren't meant for me,” she said, sharing her philosophy of focusing on the future.

Regarding the support she would offer her own children, Rakul acknowledged that she would assist them, unlike her own journey. However, she also acknowledged the hard work of star parents who have paved the way for their children. "Yes, this is a reality, films have been taken away from me, but I am not a person who will get bitter," she explained. "I move on. I feel bad for a day and then snatch out of it."

Her experience working on "Indian 2" with director Shankar, despite the film's critical reception, has been a learning experience for her. “It's a privilege to be working with such a remarkable filmmaker, who is a legend in himself,” she said, praising Shankar's vision and guidance.

Rakul currently stars in "De De Pyaar De 2" and continues to navigate the complexities of the film industry, demonstrating resilience and a forward-looking approach.
