The Central Crime Branch (CCB) in Bengaluru has filed a chargesheet against nine individuals accused of organizing a rave party at a farmhouse near Electronics City on May 15. The chargesheet, submitted to the court on Monday, includes charges against 79 individuals, including Telugu actress Hema alias Krishnaveni, for drug consumption under section 27(b) of the NDPS Act.

The party, held at GR Forms in Singena Agrahara, was organized by event manager Vasu L to celebrate his birthday and his event management firm's anniversary. Nine people, including Vasu, his friends, and a Nigerian national, have been booked for organizing the event and supplying drugs. Seized during the raid were MDMA pills, hydro cannabis, cocaine, hydro ganja, and various electronic items. The police have ruled out any political involvement despite the discovery of an MLA sticker on an SUV, which was traced back to one of the accused.

The chargesheet includes statements from 82 witnesses and is yet to be admitted by the court. The case has attracted attention in Karnataka, Telangana, and Andhra Pradesh, with several Telugu actors allegedly attending the event. The accused are facing charges under the NDPS Act, and the outcome of the case will be closely watched.
