Vettaiyan First Single Manasilaayo On September 9

The highly anticipated Tamil film, Vettaiyan, starring Rajinikanth, is set to release its first single, Manasilaayo, on September 9. Written and directed by TJ Gnanavel, the film is scheduled to hit theaters on October 10. With just a month to go, the promotions for the film have begun, and the team announced the release of the first single on social media.

Vettaiyan is a cop thriller that marks Rajinikanth's first collaboration with filmmaker TJ Gnanavel, who last directed the critically acclaimed film Jai Bhim. The film boasts an ensemble cast, including Amitabh Bachchan, Fahadh Faasil, Manju Warrier, Rana Daggubati, Dushara Vijayan, Ritika Singh, and others, in prominent roles. Anirudh Ravichander is scoring the music for the film, which is backed by Lyca Productions and will release in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, and Kannada.

The technical crew includes cinematographer SR Kathir I.S.C and editor Philomin Raj. The film is currently in the post-production stages, with the cast dubbing for their portions, including Rajinikanth. While the plot of the film remains under wraps, Vettaiyan is touted to be a cop thriller that promises to keep audiences on the edge of their seats.

After Vettaiyan, Rajinikanth will be working with director Lokesh Kanagaraj on a film titled Coolie, which also stars Nagarjuna, Upendra, Soubin Shahir, Sathyaraj, and Shruti Haasan in pivotal roles. The shooting is underway for Coolie, which is produced by Sun Pictures and has music by Anirudh Ravichander. A release date is yet to be announced for Coolie.
