Alia - Ranbir sets social media on fire with latest ad. Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor, the real-life power couple, have reunited for a new ad campaign, showcasing a brand's blackout curtains. The light-hearted ad playfully depicts their contrasting views on "night life," transforming their home into both a cozy theater and a vibrant party space.

The ad begins with a restless Alia expressing her dissatisfaction with their lack of "night life," as Ranbir practices yoga in their well-lit home. In a humorous exchange, Ranbir, proclaiming himself the "OG night owl," draws the blackout curtains, creating a pitch-black ambiance for their daytime "movie night."

Alia, initially resistant, is won over by Ranbir's creative vision, as disco balls illuminate their home, transforming it into a private party for two. The ad culminates with the couple dancing to "Badtameez Dil," Ranbir's hit song from "Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani," Alia playfully declaring, "Ise kehte hai night life (This is what you call night life)!"

The ad highlights the playful dynamic between the couple, showcasing their off-screen chemistry. While their busy careers keep them occupied, the ad emphasizes their shared love for creating their own unique version of "night life" – whether it's a quiet movie night or a vibrant dance party.

The ad coincides with the upcoming release of Sanjay Leela Bhansali's "Love & War," which will reunite Alia and Ranbir on screen. The film, also featuring Vicky Kaushal, is expected to hit theaters in 2025.

Alia's last release was the critically acclaimed "Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani," while Ranbir's recent film "Animal," directed by Sandip Reddy Vanga, was a blockbuster hit in 2023. Alia is currently prepping for "Jigra," alongside Vedang Raina, while Ranbir is also working on a multi-part film adaptation of the Ramayana.
