Mass director VV Vinayak, known for delivering blockbuster hits in the Telugu film industry, has been largely absent from the scene in recent years. The director, who captivated audiences with his mass entertainers, has not announced any new projects since the Hindi remake of "Chhatrapati" in 2023. While there were rumors of a potential collaboration with Balakrishna, nothing materialized.

Unfortunately, Vinayak has been battling health issues, leading to a prolonged absence from filmmaking. It has now been revealed that he recently underwent a liver-related surgery at LB Nagar Kamineni Hospital in Hyderabad. He is currently recovering and is expected to be discharged soon.

Vinayak's career has seen a downturn since 2014, with the exception of the successful "Khaidi Number 150" starring Chiranjeevi. His subsequent films, including the "Chhatrapati" remake, failed to achieve the same success.

Despite the recent health challenges, there is hope among fans and the industry that Vinayak will return to directing, bringing his signature mass-entertainer style back to the big screen. He is known for his generous nature, having previously helped distributors who faced losses due to his films, notably supporting Akhil with his first film.

VV Vinayak's career began with the film "Aadi" and went on to deliver hits like "Dil," "Tagore," "Lakshmi," "Krishna," "Adurs," "Nayak," and "Intelligent." He even ventured into acting with the Dil Raju-produced film "Sheenayya," which was unfortunately halted after a few days of shooting.

Fans eagerly await Vinayak's return to filmmaking, hoping he will once again deliver the high-energy, mass-appeal films that made him a household name in Tollywood.
