Director Prasanth Varma announced that "Hanuman" has been converted into 3D for its international release, aiming to enhance the visual spectacle for audiences in Japan and beyond.

"Japan has become a lucrative market for South Indian films, particularly after the success of 'RRR' and 'Kalki 2898 AD'," he explained. He attributed the growing popularity of South Indian films in Japan to a shared emotional connection.

"Over time, North India has been heavily influenced by Western culture, while South Indian sensibilities still closely resemble those of Japan and Korea in terms of emotions," he shared. "If your film has potential, Japanese audiences are very receptive to it."

"Hanuman" achieved remarkable box office success despite a challenging year for Indian films. Prasanth attributed this success to keeping ticket prices affordable, making the film accessible to a wider audience.

With its upcoming international release and 3D re-release, "Hanuman" is poised to reach even greater heights, further solidifying its position as a successful and impactful film.
