Stree 2 Stands With 172 Crores Box Office Collection In Three Days

Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor's horror-comedy film Stree 2 is dominating the box office with an impressive collection of Rs 172 crore. The film, directed by Amar Kaushik, has shown a remarkable performance since its release, with a notable collection of Rs 43.85 crore on its first Saturday. Stree 2 opened with night shows on Wednesday, earning Rs 8.5 crore, followed by Rs 51.8 crore on Thursday and Rs 31.4 crore on Friday.

The film's occupancy rate is also impressive, with 61.96 per cent occupancy on Saturday, led by Bengaluru, Lucknow, Chennai, Jaipur, and Delhi. Stree 2 has performed exceptionally well in theatres, despite releasing alongside two other films, Vedaa and Khel Khel Mein, during the Independence Day weekend.

The film's success can be attributed to its unique blend of horror and comedy, along with the impressive performances of its cast, including Pankaj Tripathi, Abhishek Banerjee, and Aparshakti Khurana. Stree 2 has also performed well overseas, collecting approximately Rs 15 crore.
