Raayan set to premiere in Prime Video on August 30

Dhanush's 50th film as lead actor and second directorial venture, Raayan, has received a positive response. The gangster action drama, released in July, stars Dhanush alongside Dushara Vijayan, Kalidas Jayaram, and others. After its successful theatrical run especially in Tamil Nadu, Raayan is now set to premiere on Prime Video on August 30, although an official announcement is yet to be made.

The film, backed by Sun Pictures, is also expected to be available on SunNXT. Raayan is set in north Chennai and follows three brothers who run an eatery and live with their sister. However, after one of them kills a gangster's son, a chain of events unfolds, putting the siblings in danger. The film features music by AR Rahman, which was well-received upon its release.
