Mamootty Turbo Set for Grand OTT Release on Sony LIV

The Malayalam superhit film Turbo, starring Mammootty in the lead role, is gearing up for its grand OTT release on Sony LIV on August 9, 2024. The film, directed by Vysakh, marks the megastar's reunion with the hitmaker after the massive success of Madhura Raja. Turbo follows the story of Aruvipurathu Jose, aka Turbo Jose, who is forced to relocate to Chennai after getting involved in a problem related to his friend Jerry and a girl named Indhulekha.

The action-comedy film features Mammootty as Jose, with Raj B Shetty playing the lead antagonist Vetrivel Shamugha Sundaram. The supporting cast includes Shabareesh Varma, Anjana Jayaprakash, Bindu Panicker, Kabir Duhan Singh, Niranjana Anoop, and others. Christo Xavier composed the music for the movie, which is distributed by Dulquer Salmaan's Wayfarer Films.

After its successful run in theaters, Turbo is expected to stream on Sony LIV in five languages, including Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Hindi. However, there are no updates on the other language versions, including Marathi and Arabic, so far. The OTT release is highly anticipated, and fans are eagerly waiting to watch the film on the popular streaming platform.
