Following the blockbuster success of Pushpa: The Rise, anticipation for the sequel, Pushpa 2: The Rule, featuring Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna, is at an all-time high. However, the film's release has been delayed, fueling speculation about shooting delays and casting changes. Producer Bunny Vasu has now shed some light on the matter, revealing intriguing details about the film's development.

Vas explained that Sukumar, the film's director, has made significant alterations to the sequel's narrative following the overwhelming reception to Pushpa: The Rise. These changes, he revealed, have contributed to the shooting delays, impacting Allu Arjun's upcoming projects, which he is expected to announce by August.

Addressing rumors circulating on social media, Vas confirmed that the film's release is currently targeted for December. The editing process is underway, and he urged fans to disregard any unverified information.

Earlier, rumors surfaced regarding a potential rift between Allu Arjun and Sukumar after the actor was spotted traveling without his signature Pushpa look. Fans speculated about a disagreement, considering the actor was initially expected to maintain his long beard look throughout the filming schedule. However, Vasu firmly dismissed these rumors, highlighting their misrepresentation.

Pushpa 2: The Rule boasts a stellar cast, including Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna, Fahadh Faasil, Jagadeesh Prathap Bandar, Rao Ramesh, and Anasuya Bharadwaj. The film is produced by Mythri Movie Makers and Sukumar Writings, with music composed by Devi Sri Prasad.
