Indian 2 readies for OTT streaming.

Despite the high anticipation surrounding its release, "Indian 2," the much-awaited Tamil film starring Kamal Haasan and directed by Shankar Shanmugam, failed to meet box office expectations. The sequel to the 1996 blockbuster "Indian" (released in Telugu as "Bharateeyudu"), which showcased the dynamic partnership of these two cinematic powerhouses, debuted on July 12th, 2024.

However, the film's performance at the box office fell short of the hype. Now, Netflix has announced that "Indian 2" will be available for streaming on August 9th, 2024, in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam.
