Malavika Mohanan Joins Karthi Sardar 2

Prince Pictures, the production banner behind Sardar 2, has announced the addition of Malavika Mohanan to the film's cast. The sequel to the 2022 Karthi starrer, Sardar, will see Karthi reprise his lead role, with PS Mithran returning as the director. SJ Suryah is also part of the cast, while the rest of the original cast, including Raashi Khanna and Munishkanth, are yet to be confirmed for the sequel.

The technical team from the first film will also return, with George C Williams handling cinematography and Dhilip Subbarayan directing stunts. However, Yuvan Shankar Raja will replace GV Prakash as the music composer, and Vijay Velukutty will take over editing duties from Antony L Ruben. Lakshman Kumar is producing Sardar 2 under the Prince Pictures banner.

Malavika Mohanan, who recently finished dubbing for the Vikram-Pa Ranjith film Thangalaan, will next be seen in this sequel. Thangalaan is scheduled for release on August 15. Her upcoming projects also include The Rajasaab, starring Prabhas in the lead.

With the addition of Malavika Mohanan to the cast, Sardar 2 is shaping up to be an exciting sequel. The return of Karthi and PS Mithran, combined with the new cast and technical team members, promises a thrilling ride for fans of the original film.
