Devi Sri Prasad, fondly known as DSP, has been ruling the music industry for over 20 years. With a career spanning across Telugu, Tamil, and Hindi films, he has delivered chartbuster albums that have topped playlists for decades.

Early Life and Debut

Born to popular writer Sathyamurthy, DSP developed an interest in music at a young age. He made his debut as a music director in his teens with the film Devi, produced by MS Raju and directed by Kodi Ramakrishna. His breakthrough came with the film Anandam, directed by Srinu Vaitla and produced by Ramoji Rao.

Rise to Stardom

DSP's rise to stardom was swift, with back-to-back chartbuster albums like Mandmadhudu, Kalusukovalani, and Sontham. His music for Prabhas starrer Varsham was a huge hit, followed by another romantic album with Arya, marking his first collaboration with Sukumar.
