Tamil Rockers admin arrested. The notorious Tamil Rockers website, a major player in the piracy of Indian films, has suffered a significant blow with the arrest of its admin, Jeb Stephen Raj, in Thiruvananthapuram. Raj was caught red-handed uploading the pirated version of Dhanush's latest release, "Raayan," just hours after its theatrical premiere.

The arrest follows a complaint filed by actress Supirya, wife of Prithviraj Sukumaran, after her husband's film, "Guruvayoor Ambalanadayil," was leaked online shortly after its release. This incident sparked a crackdown on piracy in Kerala, leading to the arrest of Raj.

Investigations revealed that Raj, a native of Madurai, Tamil Nadu, had been actively uploading pirated copies of various films, including theatre prints, for a considerable period. He was caught shooting the entire "Raayan" film in a theatre and attempting to upload it online. During questioning, Raj revealed the existence of a 12-member team working for the Tamil Rockers website.

Further investigations uncovered evidence that Raj was also distributing pirated content through the Telegram app. Apart from "Raayan," the police found copies of "Kalki 2898 AD" and "Maharaja" in his possession.

Raj has been remanded to judicial custody for five days, and the police are continuing their investigation. This arrest marks a significant victory in the ongoing fight against movie piracy, which has cost the Indian film industry millions of rupees in revenue.

The crackdown on Tamil Rockers and the apprehension of its admin send a strong message to those involved in movie piracy, highlighting the consequences of such illegal activities. The industry and authorities are committed to combating piracy and ensuring the protection of creative works.
