Director Prashanth Varma, who collaborated with Teja Sajja on the original film, reportedly believes that Chiranjeevi would be ideal for the role. However, the Megastar is committed to several projects over the next three years, including "Vishwambhara" and a film with Mohan Raja.

Adding fuel to the speculation, producer Chaitanya Reddy hinted in a recent interview that either Chiranjeevi or Ram Charan would be the ideal choices for the role.

However, given the demanding nature of the role and the complexities of their schedules, it could take a year or more to finalize casting.

Meanwhile, Prashanth Varma is also rumored to be working on a debut film for Nandamuri Mokshagna, further complicating his schedule.
