After Legal Trouble Vignesh Shivan Film Title Changed From LIC To LIK

Director Vignesh Shivan's upcoming film, previously titled LIC - Love Insurance Corporation, has undergone a title change to Love Insurance Kompany (LIK) following a notice from the Life Insurance Corporation of India. The new title was revealed during the midnight and the first look poster will be unveiled today at 11:11 AM. The film marks the first collaboration between Vignesh Shivan, actor-filmmaker Pradeep Ranganathan, and actress Krithi Shetty, who stars alongside SJ Suryah in a pivotal role.

The film is backed by Seven Screen Studio and Rowdy Pictures, with Vignesh Shivan and Seven Screen Studio having previously worked together on Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal. Anirudh Ravichander, a regular collaborator of the director, will score the music for the film. The technical crew consists of Pradeep Ragav as the editor and cinematographer Ravi Varman, with Yogi Babu playing the comedian.

The title change comes after the Life Insurance Corporation of India objected to the use of their name in the original title. The new title, Love Insurance Kompany (LIK), is expected to avoid any further conflicts.
