Simbaa Trailer: A Socially Relevant Thriller

The makers of Simbaa released their film’s official trailer in a grand ceremony, also announcing the release date. Simbaa, which stars Jagapathi Babu, Anusuya Bharadwaj in the lead role, will have a theatrical release on August 9.

Simbaa promises to be a socio-political thriller drama that delves into the themes of deforestation and environmental pollution, telling the story of a socially conscientious school teacher (Anusuya Bharadwaj) who somehow becomes embroiled in a murder case. Anusuya Bharadwaj was recently seen in the period drama Razakar. 

Simbaa also stars Jagapathi Babu, Gowtami, Vasista Simha, Srinath Maganti, Divi Vadthya and Anish Kuruvilla in significant roles. The cinematography and editing are by Krishna Prasad and Tammiraju, respectively. Krishna Saurabh, meanwhile, is the music director.  Upon it’s release, Simbaa will clash at the box office against the Niharika Konidela production Committee Kurrollu on August 9 at theatres.
