Dasari 'Nandi' igniting fires in Tollywood

Andhra Pradesh State Government’s ‘Nandi Awards’ are once again raking huge fires in the industry for its most biased selection in picking the winners.  The first and foremost criticism is in the name of Dasari Narayana Rao winning the Nandi in Best Actor category for the movie ‘Mestri.’

‘When ‘Magadheera’ is treated as most popular film because of Ramcharan’s acting abilities, how can he miss the award? Better Dasari should have been selected for Nandi, in best supporting actor category. There can be a clear interpretation that Nandi awards are only for those who can afford lobbying. Without lobbying you can’t win any of our State awards,’ said well known writer Chinni Krishna.

Even, there are many technicians and actors who are feeling the heart burn looking at the winners list. Any time, this igniting fire may outburst, everything because of carelessness and failure of Selection Committee members in sticking to their guidelines.
