Bala's upcoming film, 'Vanangaan' headlined by Arun Vijay has find itself in a legal tussle over its title. The bench, led by Justice Velmurugan of the Madras High Court, has dismissed the plea of S Saravanan, who filed a PIL to stop the release of Bala and Arun Vijay's Vanangaan over the film's title.

The litigant contended that he had already registered the title - Vanangaan. The judge, after hearing arguments from both sides, has set aside the petition and cleared Vanangaan's release. So,  all Decks were cleared for the release of the film.
