Kamal Haasan - Shankar Bharateeyudu 2 Opening Are Not Upto The Mark

Universal Star Kamal Haasan and Ace Director Shankar joined hands for a sequel to epic Indian / Bharateeyudu. The latest film Bharateeyudu 2 after facing many hurdles finally released on July 13 in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi languages. The film's buzz is quite low as the songs and trailer didn't created much buzz around the film.

The film got mixed reactions and lot of negative reviews from critics and audience. The film failed to meet the expectations set by its predecessor classic Indian / Bharateeyudu. The negative talk impacted the collections at the box office.

Indian 2 disappoints on day 1 collecting Rs. 55 Crores gross worldwide including all languages. In Telugu, the film Bharateeyudu 2 collected 11+ crores gross. Going by the word of the mouth and Occupancies, The film's collections will drop more today and it looks like the film will end up as biggest disaster in Shankar and Kamal Haasan's career.

The film stars Siddharth, Rakul Preet Singh, and Priya Bhavani Shankar, SJ Suryah, and  Samuthurakani. With Anirudh Ravichander's music, Ravi Varman's cinematography, and Sreekar Prasad's editing the film has been Produced jointly by Subaskaran Allirajah's Lyca Productions and Red Giant Movies.
