Karthi Sardar 2 Launched With Pooja Ceremony

The film Saradar starring Karthi was a super hit in Tamil and Telugu. The makers officially announced part 2 of the movie, a few days after its theatrical release. The auspicious pooja for Sardar 2 took place recently and the shooting of this film is scheduled to start on July 15th, 2024 in grand sets in Chennai. Sardar 2 will be directed by PS Mithran who directed the prequel and produced by Prince Pictures.

It was revealed towards the end of Sardar that, the next mission is going to happen in Cambodia. Sardar 2 will be mounted on a much larger scale with a massive budget. Technically, this is going to be solid with seasoned technicians taking care of different departments.

Music for Sardar 2 will be scored by Yuvan Shankar Raja. George C Williams is the Director of photography and Dilip Subbarayan is the Stunt Director. Rajeevan Nambiar is the Production designer. Vijay Velukutty is the Editor. AP Paal Pandi is the Production Executive. A Venkatesh is the Co Producer and S. Lakshman Kumar is the Producer.

Reports suggest that almost 40 percent of the filming will take place in Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan, and the team is currently planning out the schedule to commence shooting. Other key sequences for the film will reportedly be shot in Chennai and Hyderabad. Sardar 2 will deal with drug trafficking and to raise awareness on how taking drugs negatively affect society. This information, of course, is yet to be confirmed by the makers.
