Maharaja To Stream On Netflix From 12 July

Vijay Sethupathi's landmark 50th film Maharaja which was released last month in Tamil and Telugu languages has earned good word of mouth and collections too. The film directed by Nithilan Saminathan, turned out to be a superhit collecting over Rs. 100 crores gross. Maharaja marks the first 100 crores film for Vijay Sethupathi as solo lead.

Maharaja has locked its OTT release date. It will make its online debut on July 12, 2024 in Netflix. The film will be available in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi languages. Netflix made an announcement regarding the release date with a poster. 

This will offer a chance for those who missed it in theaters. It is expected that the film will find more viewership in OTT as it has already earned positive reactions. Apart from Tamil and somewhat Telugu, other languages audiences will surely embrace the film for its hard hitting emotional content.

The movie features an ensemble cast including Anurag Kashyap, Mamta Mohandas, Natty (Natraj), Bharathiraja, Abhiram, Singampuli, Aruldoss, Munishkanth, Vinoth Sagar, Boys Manikandan, Kalki, and Sachana Nimidass in crucial roles. Produced by Sudhan Sundaram and Jagadish Palanisamy, the film’s music is composed by Ajaneesh Loknath.
