The film is releasing on 27 June 2024 and expectations are high as the film is directed by Mahanati fame Nag Ashwin and boasts of a stellar cast of Big B Amitabh Bachchan, Universal Hero Kamal Haasan, Global beauty Deepika Padukone and Hot Seductress Disha Patani.

The film is bankrolled on a lavish manner by Aswini Dutt on Vyjayanthi Movies. Many are of the opinion that former AP CM Jagan Mohan Reddy planned to crush Kalki 2898 Ad and people had no doubt that since Aswini Dutt is a staunch supporter of Chandra Babu Naidu and TDP, Jagan would have definitely targeted him. The way he illtreated top Tollywood celebrities when they met him in Andhra Pradesh still haunted him.

Many feared as just before the counting, Aswini Dutt came in support of TDP-Jana Sena alliance. Had Jagan came to power and become CM, he would have crushed Kalki by targeting the film in Andhra Pradesh. But as fate would have it, Jagan's plans to crush Kalki backfired and instead Kalki crushed Jagan and now it is catapulting the current AP CM Chandra Babu Naidu. Chandra Babu Naidu's government allowed stark increase in ticket rates for Kalki, highest in the two Telugu states.
