All eyes on Kalki 2898 Ad and its stamina. The highly anticipated "Kalki 2898 Ad," a sci-fi epic produced by Vyjayanthi Films and directed by Nag Ashwin, is set to hit theaters worldwide on June 27th, promising a cinematic experience that blends Indian mythology and futuristic adventure.

The film, featuring a star-studded cast including Amitabh Bachchan as Ashwatthama from the Mahabharata, Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, and Kamal Haasan, is set in the dystopian city of Kasi in 2898 AD. The narrative traces the rise of the superhero Kalki, inspired by the tenth avatar of Vishnu, amidst a world facing an unknown threat.

Made with a reported budget of ₹600 crore and a runtime of 181 minutes, "Kalki 2898 Ad" is poised to rewrite box office records. It will be released in 2D and 3D formats across India and in Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada. The film's premiere is expected to be a grand spectacle, with IMAX screenings across India and the reopening of the PC-X large screen hall at Prasads multiplex in Hyderabad after a seating revamp.

The Telangana state government has granted permission for six shows on the opening day and five shows per day until July 4th, with increased ticket prices of ₹75 for single screens and ₹100 for multiplexes. In Andhra Pradesh, the government has permitted five shows per day for 14 days, with similar price increases.

Despite a relatively low-key promotional campaign, the teaser, trailers, and behind-the-scenes glimpses have sparked immense curiosity among fans, who are eagerly analyzing the film's potential based on the released footage.

"Kalki 2898 Ad" holds the promise of revitalizing the Telugu film industry, which has seen a slump in recent months. The film is expected to draw large audiences, providing much-needed relief to theaters in Telangana, which have been struggling due to a dry summer and the postponement of several film releases.

The film's US distributor, Prathyangira Cinemas, has reported advance ticket sales exceeding $3 million, two days before release, indicating significant interest from international audiences.

With its unique blend of mythology, science fiction, and a stellar cast, "Kalki 2898 Ad" is poised to become a landmark film in Tollywood, potentially breaking box office records and leaving a lasting impact on the cinematic landscape.
