Why double standards for Celebrities from Courts. Film Industry comes with glitz and glamor and many get attracted towards it to hog the media limelight. Many people test their luck every day but only a lucky few will get that one opportunity and also from be able to sustain in the industry.

Many struggle to make their both ends meet and on many occasions, people are forced to give in to the shocking demands of the makers and enter into the vicious circle of casting couch. Most of the celebrities after attaining stardom, become arrogant and act as if they have descended from another planet.

These results in various illegal and illicit relationships and it impacts the lives of many. The recent developments and shocking reports involving Sandalwood Actor Darshan is one of them. Many such incidents happened earlier. One cannot forget how Mollywood actor Dileep abducted and molested actress Bhavana. These are only few and in between.

When such incidents happen in a particular industry, other industry people point fingers at them posturing as if, all is clean in their place. But one cannot forget the allegations and molestation charges made by Chinmayi Sripada against Kollywood lyricist Vairamuthu. Despite her repeated charges, none of them acted. The same thing happened in Bhavana's case. Media also covered the case when the heat is on and then shifted to other important topics for TRPs.

Things are no different in Bollywood where many actresses like Divya Bharathi, Sridevi, Jia Khan deaths remained a mystery. Even Sushanth Singh Rajput's death remained still a mystery. When few actors from Tollywood got caught in drugs case, a hue and cry was made but now Sandalwood is maintaining a stoic silence. Kollywood people who reacted strongly during Trisha's controversy involving Mansoor Ali Khan, now are not raising their voices.

One should remember, that casting couch, molestation acts and drugs abuse and illegal relationships and muders for illegal and illicit relationships are becoming rampant everywhere and film industry in particular is not immune to it. So instead of pointing fingers at each other, they should work in unison and ensure that justice is delivered quickly.

Courts also seems to be differentiating between celebrities,influential few vis a vis commoners. While commoners remain in jail just on charges, even the accused celebrities will roam freely boasting that 'Innocent until proven Guilty'. One cannot but wonder how Salman Khan accused in hit and run case and blackbuck murder case and Sanjay Dutt accused for supporting terrorists are roaming free and fans are celebrating their films. Film Stars are no different from Politicians who proudly roam in the midst of their diehard, mad and insane followers who go to any extent and commit suicides for them.
