Naga Chaitanya, the popular Telugu actor, is looking to make a comeback with "Thandel," a film based on the gripping true story of Raju, an Indian fisherman who was inadvertently imprisoned in Pakistan for nearly two years.  

The film, directed by Chandoo Mondeti, has commenced shooting in Srikakulam, with the team capturing crucial scenes in the picturesque coastal region. The arrival of Chaitanya was met with an enthusiastic welcome from fans eager to witness the "Yuva Samrat" take on this challenging role.

"Thandel" features the captivating music of Devi Sri Prasad, known for his chart-topping tunes. The film's glimpse, making videos, and posters have already created a buzz among the audience, generating anticipation for this poignant tale.

Sai Pallavi, who previously shared the screen with Chaitanya in Shekhar Kamula's "Love Story," is reuniting with him as the leading lady in "Thandel." The film is produced by Bunny Vas under GA2 Pictures and presented by the renowned producer Allu Arvind.

"Thandel" promises to be a captivating love saga, exploring themes of resilience, hope, and the enduring power of human spirit.  The makers are aiming for a December 20, 2024, release date, hoping to captivate audiences with this poignant real-life story.
