Deepika Padukone surprises with her baby bump

Bollywood star and producer Deepika Padukone, who is expecting her first child with Ranveer Singh, shared a series of captivating black-and-white photos on her social media, showcasing her growing baby bump.

The images, posted ahead of the "Kalki 2898 AD" event in Mumbai, were captioned with a simple yet relatable message: "Okay, enough. Now I am hungry."

Deepika and Ranveer announced their pregnancy in February, revealing that their first child is expected in September 2024. The couple tied the knot in November 2018.

Professionally, Deepika is eagerly awaiting the release of "Kalki 2898 AD," directed by Nag Ashwin. The sci-fi film boasts a stellar ensemble cast, including Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, Prabhas, and Disha Patani.

In addition to "Kalki 2898 AD," Deepika is also working on the Hindi remake of "The Intern," which reunites her with Amitabh Bachchan.  The film is an adaptation of the popular Anne Hathaway and Robert De Niro starrer.

Deepika's last screen appearance was in the action-packed Siddharth Anand film, "Fighter."
