Megana Gulzar To Make A Film Based On True Incident In Hyderabad With Kareena, Ayushmann

No one can forget the horrific incident of a young girl named 'Disha' (name given by Government hiding original name) got brutally raped and killed by lorry drivers at the outskirts of Hyderabad. This incident has ignited uproar among the public and rise serious concerns about woman safety. Government has took this case seriously and all of the culprits were killed in an encounter. 

Government even launched 'Disha App' to help women and urge every woman install it in their mobiles and with just one click, local team of police will be deployed to her location immediately. Now, Bollywood is about to make a film based on this heart wrenching incident. Talented Meghana Gulzar will help this project.

Months after delivering a memorable biopic in Sam Bahadur, Meghna Gulzar is now looking to direct her next based on another real-life incident which stars Kareena Kapoor and Ayushmann Khurrana. As per reports, Meghna has done all her research on the subject through the last few years and had a strong source material on place for her screenplay. She was moved by all that happened. 

Kareena and Ayushmann resonated with the emotions and are looking forward to team up on this special project. Meghna is looking to take the film on floors by the end of 2024. It will arrive in the cinema halls in 2025. This hard-hitting drama will mark Ayushmann and Kareena's first collaboration together, as well as Meghna's first with both actors.
