Gangs Of Godavari Now Streaming On Netflix

After decent success of 'Gaami', Vishwak Sen came with a mass and intense gangster film, Gangs Of Godavari was one of the most awaited films. The film received mixed reviews but surprisingly stands as top earner among that week releases for the weekend. When it is showing positive signs, the film dipped at the boxoffice during weekdays and never recovered.

To everyone's surprise, Netflix has announced that the film will be streaming from June 14, 2024. Two weeks from its theatrical release date, 31st May. Now, the film, 'Gangs Of Godavari' is up for streaming on OTT in Netflix platform in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam languages. 

Vishwak Sen and Neha Sshetty played the main leads in this film, which was directed by Krishna Chaitanya. The film which was released with a target of recovering Rs 10 Crores worldwide has collected Rs 10.20 Crores attaining Breakeven. But, as the film has been delayed from last year December, the production costs got increased.

Naga Vamsi of Sithara Entertainments, bankrolled this film, along with Sai Soujanya of Fortune Four Cinemas banner. Yuvan Shankar Raja has composed the music. Netflix offered good deal to stream the film early. So, makers to recover their lost amount struck a deal and released the film in two weeks resulting a win-win situation for everyone.
