Last year monstor hit 'ANIMAL' starring Ranbir Kapoor Helmed by Sandeep Vanga has received severe flak for its bold and misogynistic remarks.
Many celebrities were reacted about 'Animal' and it's extremities. Most of the people wanted to known about Anurag's opinion about the film. Anurag Kashyap has come out in support of Animal director Sandeep Reddy Vanga. Anurag called Sandeep an honest man while labelling a lot of people in the industry as more toxic. Anurag called him an honest man and shared that he loved talking to him.
Anurag sided with Vanga and said, "I met him (Sandeep) and I liked him. I like the guy. I've had questions of my own and I wanted to talk to him about his film (Animal), so I invited him, and we had a long five-hour conversation. I like the guy... I always believe in talking to people. I was cancelled after Dev D (2009) by a lot of people for making a 'misogynistic' film... I have often seen people isolating someone, attacking someone, and that is not the way to be."
On the work front, Anurag Kashyap will star in Bad Cop as the quirky, charming, and deadly villain and he is also seen in Vijay Sethupathi's Tamil film, 'Maharaja'. Sandeep is currently in pre-production works of Prabhas starrer 'Spirit' which will hit the floors later this year.
