Sandalwood Actor Darshan Arrested In Murder Case

Sandalwood actor Darshan arrested in murder case. Kannada film star Darshan, known as the "Challenging Star," has been arrested in Mysuru for his alleged involvement in the murder of Renuka Swamy from Chitradurga. The arrest comes after a month-long investigation into Renuka's death, initially reported as a suicide but later confirmed as murder.

Sources reveal that Renuka's murder stems from an alleged incident involving actress Pavithra Gowda, with whom Darshan is rumored to be in a relationship. Renuka reportedly sent inappropriate messages to Pavithra, prompting a strong reaction from Darshan's wife, Vijaya Lakshmi. She publicly criticized Pavithra and shared photographs of her with another man, Sanjay Singh.

According to reports, Renuka frequently commented on Pavithra's social media posts, escalating the conflict. Renuka's body was discovered on June 9th after being reported missing the previous day.

During interrogation, Darshan confessed to ordering Renuka's murder. The investigation revealed that Renuka was killed at the garage of Darshan's residence in front of him. He was allegedly beaten with weapons by others, who have also been arrested along with Darshan.

Darshan is currently in police custody and is being held at Kamakshipalya where the complaint was filed. Ten other individuals have also been arrested in connection with the murder.

The case has sent shockwaves through the Kannada film industry and has become a topic of intense public scrutiny.
