Nandamuri Balakrishna - Roaring Actor, People Leader

Natasimha Nandamuri Balakrishna who got introduced as the son of Legendary Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao garu to the film industry. It's not an easy task to survive in the shadow of such iconic personality. But, Balayya braved them all with his lion hearted attitude and performances. He not only became a star and also carried the legacy on NTR forward. Balakrishna did all kinds of film, Family Dramas, Commercial Films, Faction Films, Devotional Films, Folklore films, Science Fiction Films and Historical films. It's not an overstatement to call NBK as only the only Hero who has touched such wife range of films in his career.

NBK made entry into the film's at the age of 14 years itself with Thathamma Kala directed and acted by NTR himself. NBK impressed with his performance in the first film itself. Later both NTR and NBK worked together for Annadammula Anubandham, Anuraga Devatha, Rowdy Ramudu Konte Krishnudu, Simham Navvindi, Dana Veera Sura Karna, Tirupathi Venkateswara Kalyanam, Sri Madvirata Parvam, Vemulawada Bheemakavi and Akbar Saleem Anarkali films. 

Balayya made solo hero entry with  Sahasame Jeevitham film in 1984. But the big break came with Mangamma Gari Manavadu in Balakrishna's career. This all-time Blockbuster has made NBK a care of addres for rural family dramas. Then followed by blockbusters like Bharyabhartala Bandham, Kathanayakudu Bhale Thammudu, Anasuyamma Gari Alludu, Desodharakudu, Muvvagopaludu, Muddula Mavayya, Nari Nari Naduma Murari and others.

From Lorry Driver he joined hands with B Gopal and this combination became huge success after his combination with Kodi Ramakrishna and Producer S Gopal Reddy. All the films Lorry Driver, Rowdy Inspector, Samara Simha Reddy, Narasimha Naidu became huge blockbusters along with Bobbili Simham, Bangaru Bullodu, Peddannayya.

Then NBK's combination with Boyapati Sreenu became a hot combination. They both delivered three blockbusters with Simha, Legend and Akhanda. Now getting ready with another film. He is currently busy with his next #NBK109 in Bobby Kolli's direction. NBK also made his mark in politics by winning thrice in a row as an MLA from Hindupur constituency on behalf of Telugu Desam Party. He is also the chair person for renowned Basavatarakam Cancer Hospital which is known for selfless service and world-class treatment.
