He departed from Chennai on Wednesday and traveled to Uttarakhand, where he will be undertaking the Char Dham Yatra, visiting the sacred Badrinath and Kedarnath temples.

While on this spiritual journey, Rajinikanth is taking a break from his busy film schedule. The shooting of his upcoming film "Vettaiyan" has been completed, and he is going to join with Lokesh Kanagaraj for Thalaivar 171.

Upon his return from the Himalayas on June 4th, Rajinikanth will resume work on his projects, including the dubbing for "Vettaiyan" and the commencement of a new film. He also shares a keen interest in the upcoming Andhra Pradesh election results, which are scheduled to be announced on the same day.
