Vishal Rathnam To Stream On Amazon Prime From May 23

Vishal's latest outing in the theatres, Rathnam, has got enough pre release buzz. Reason behind the buzz is the hero Director combo, which earlier delivered a couple of hits, Bharani and Pooja. Rathnam is the third film in Hero Vishal and Director Hari's combination. The film has all mass commercial film ingredients and director Karthik Subbaraj's Stonebench Films backed the project.

But, Rathnam failed to impress targeted audiences at the boxoffice. Now it is all set to premiere on Prime Video on May 23. Helmed by Hari, the film hit theatres on April 26 and opened to mixed reviews.  Besides Vishal, the action film also stars Priya Bhavani Shankar, Gautham Menon, Murali Sharma, and Samuthirakani, among others.

Rathnam is produced by Karthik Subbaraj's Stone Bench Production and Kaarthekeyan Santhanam's Zee Studios. Rathnam has cinematography by M Sukumar, music by Devi Sri Prasad and editing by T S Jay. The film will be arriving on Amazon Prime Video and will be streaming in Tamil and Telugu from May 23. English subtitles for the film will also be available.

Th plot of Rathnam is Hero works as a henchman under MLA Panner Selvam. A girl travels to Vellore for an interview, and a few rowdies try to kill her, but Rathnam saves her and becomes her guardian angel. How long can he protect her? All this is concluded with a bunch of high voltage fights and chanse sequences.
