Vishal To Resume His Detective 2 From Next Month

With actor Vishal awaiting the release of his action film Rathnam, directed by Hari, he gave an update about the filming of the investigative thriller Thupparivaalan 2 / Detective 2. Vishal's Detective co-starring Prasanna directed by Mysskin is one of the well made and perfect adaptation of Sherlock Holmes in regional cinema. The film will.always have a special place in Vishal's career. 

During a promotional event for Rathnam, Vishal said locations have been finalised for shooting the sequel to Thupparivaalan / Detective but wants some time to see the response to Hari's film which is releasing on April 26. The actor said Thupparivaalan 2 will be filmed in Azerbaijan, Malta and London, which will begin at May 5 at the England capital.

Thupparivaalan 2 / Detective 2 will mark the directorial debut of Vishal after director Mysskin stepped down from his responsibility citing creative differences. Prasanna will reprise his role in the sequel too. Meanwhile, Vishal is awaiting for his next release, Rathnam which is slated on April 26.

The film directed by Hari, will be produced by Kaarthekeyan Santhanam, Alankar Pandian and Karthik Subbaraj under the banners of Zee Studios, Stone Bench Films and Invenio Origin. Priya Bhavani Shankar has started becoming a regular in Hari's films, after Yaanai, playing the female lead in Rathnam. Samuthirakani, Ramachandra Raju, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Yogi Babu, Murali Sharma and Mohan Raman are part of the ensemble cast.
