Kamal Haasan sensation on Indian 3. Padmashri Kamal Haasan's long-awaited film, "Indian 2," has finally completed all its shooting formalities. Director Shankar is currently immersed in the post-production work, gearing up for the film's release in June this year.
The makers have announced that "Indian 2" will hit screens in an extravagant manner on June 15, 2024. Additionally, there's buzz that "Indian 3," the sequel to "Indian 2," has also been wrapped up.
Kamal Haasan recently spoke to the media, acknowledging the delays in production. He emphasized the importance of quality over quantity and confirmed the completion of both "Indian 2" and "Indian 3." Post-production work for "Indian 2" is currently underway, with plans to commence work on "Indian 3" soon after.
The veteran actor also shared updates about his other projects. He mentioned that filming for Mani Ratnam's "Thug Life" will begin after the ongoing campaign (election) ends. Additionally, Kamal Haasan revealed that he has a cameo in the film "Kalki 2898 AD."
"Indian 2" boasts a stellar cast, including Siddharth, Kajal Aggarwal, Rahul Preet Singh, Samuthirakani, Bobby Simha, and Priya Bhavani Shankar. Reportedly, director Shankar has used CGI and body doubles to bring departed actors Vivek and Nedumudi Venu to life on screen, adding a unique dimension to the film.
