Tabu, Kareena Kapoor, Kriti Sanon Crew Emerges As Box Office Hit

'Crew' headlined by amazing trio, Tabu, Kareena Kapoor and Kriti Sanon was released last week and opened to positive reviews and word of the mouth. The heist comedy film, 'Crew', is steady at the boxoffice and earned Rs 3.60 crore, on Friday. With this, the film's total net domestic collection after the first week, came to Rs 50 crore And 94.58cr Globally in 8 days. Trade is suggesting that ' 1 plus 1 ticket' offer on Friday also helped the film to draw audiences to theatres. 

It is indeed an achievement for a female oriented film that too a heist comedy. Usually audiences are preferring such genre films to watch at comfort in their homes whenever they release in OTT. But, with makers introducing exciting offers and publicity, audiences are inclined to watch the film in theatres. Now, the film is expected to pick up pace once again on its second weekend, with no major releases in sight.

'Crew' is a heist comedy film directed by Rajesh A Krishnan. The film hit theatres on March 29 amidst anticipation from fans. While Tabu, Kareena Kapoor and Kriti Sanon play lead roles, Diljit Dosanjh and Kapil Sharma play supporting roles. The film is written by Nidhi Mehra and Mehul Suri

Next, 'Crew' will face stiff competition from Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff's 'Bade Miyan Chote Miyan' and Ajay Devgn's 'Maidaan'. Both the films will hit theatres on April 10. 'Crew' is jointly produced by Balaji Motion Pictures, Anil Kapoor Films & Communication Network. The film is on its way to becoming a profitable venture for all the producers and distributors.
