Salman-KJO The Bull very much on. Karan Johar's highly anticipated film starring Salman Khan, titled 'The Bull,' is set to commence filming in 2025. Despite rumors suggesting otherwise, IndiaToday. In has exclusively learned that the project has not been shelved; instead, the writing process is currently underway.
Sources close to the production have indicated that 'The Bull' is likely to start filming in 2025. The film's script is undergoing refinement, leading to a slight delay from its original plan to begin production this year with an intended Eid 2025 release.
'The Bull' is inspired by the true events of Operation Cactus, which took place on November 3, 1988, when Indian forces assisted the Maldives government in quelling a coup attempt. Given the diplomatic relations between India and Maldives, the film is being developed with a heightened sensitivity to political dynamics and is being approached with a fresh perspective.
Previous reports had suggested that 'The Bull' faced obstacles because Karan Johar and director Vishnuvardhan were struggling to commit to a specific start date for the project.
The film marks the reunion of Salman Khan and Karan Johar after 25 years. It will be directed by Vishnuvardhan, known for his work on 'Shershaah,' starring Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani.
