Nayanthara Charges 5 Crores For A 50 Sec Ad

South film industries are familiar with the craze of Nayanthara. She shot to fame with Rajinikanth starrer Chandramukhi and Suriya starrer Ghajini almost 2 decades ago. Since then she faces many highs and lows in her career. When everyone thought her career came to a stand still, she rose back again and became go-to actress for female oriented films. She created a brand value for herself with selecting big heroes films and earned fame as top actress.

Meanwhile, she got married to longtime boyfriend, director Vignesh Shivn and also became mother of twins through surrogacy. Nayanthara last year made her debut to Bollywood with blockbuster Jawan starring Shahrukh Khan. Apart from being highest paid actress in south Indian film industry, now she also became one of the highest-paid actresses in India who is charging Rs 5 crore for a 50-second ad. 

Nayanthara charged Rs 5 crore for a 50-second advertisement for Tata Sky. The ad was shot over two days and was released in four languages, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada. The actress reportedly charged Rs 10 crore per film and enjoys a huge fan following not only in the south but all over India.

Nayanthara was last seen in Annapoorani: The Goddess of Food. However, the film found itself in major controversy which was later subsided with actress's open letter apology. The actress now has S Sashikanth's Tamil film The Test in the pipeline which also stars R Madhavan, Siddharth, and Meera Jasmine along with others in key roles and is set for the Summer 2024 release.
