Horror Film Tantra Releasing On March 15

Horror thrillers with local rural flavour are gaining attention. Recent successes of Masooda, Virupaksha and Mangalavaaram infused more confidence in filmmakers to come up with distinctive scripts in this genre. One such film is 'Tantra' headlined by Mallesham and Vakeel Saab fame Ananya Nagalla. Makers announced its release date with a spine Chilling poster. 

The film also stars Dhanush Raghumudri, son of late actor Sri Hari's brother. Tantra is scheduled to release on March 15. The release date announcement came with a new poster release, which had the caption, “After we all sleep another world wakes up in the graveyard! Do you have the courage to see that world? See you at the theatre”

In December 2023, the Tantra makers released the teaser of the film. The story of Tantra is set in a village that is struck by the menace of an evil ghost that is killing people. The film is directed by Srinivas Gopisetti, who is making his directorial debut with this venture. The film deals with occult practices blended in mystical elements. 

The film’s supporting cast includes actors like Temper Vamsi, Meesala Lakshman, and Kushalini. RR Dhruvan is the music director for the horror thriller, while Sai Ram Uday and Vijay Bhaskar Saddala are the cinematographers, SB Uddhav is the editor, and Guru Murali Krishna is the art director.
