The couple is set to tie the knot on February 21 in Goa, where a two-day celebration awaits their guests. The wedding is said to be eco-friendly, with no physical invites sent out and a commitment to avoid bursting crackers. A unique aspect of their wedding is the plan to measure the carbon footprint generated during the ceremonies and plant a corresponding number of trees to offset it. The couple intends to personally plant these trees either immediately after the marriage ceremony or the following day.

Rakul and Jackky made their relationship public on Instagram in October 2021. While they are keeping the wedding functions intimate, they are focusing on looking their best on their special day. They are reportedly considering designs from renowned designers like Sabyasachi, Manish Malhotra, and Tarun Tahiliani for their wedding attire, aiming for elegance and timelessness.
