Anil Sunkara reacts on Agent controversy. A few months ago, distributor Vizag Satish filed a petition against producer Anil Sunkara regarding their movie "Agent," seeking a refund due to losses incurred from the film's failure. Anil Sunkara had remained silent on the issue until a recent press conference where he addressed the matter.
In the conference, Anil Sunkara stated that in any business, one should be prepared to accept both profits and losses equally. He expressed remorse when investors in his films faced losses, emphasizing that producers are not usually obligated to refund buyers in such cases.
He clarified that he, too, suffered losses in the film "Agent," just like the distributor. He emphasized that profit and loss are part of every industry and it is unfair to blame others for losses while taking credit for profits.
Anil Sunkara also mentioned that the lawsuit appeared to be an attempt to intimidate him. Despite potential trouble, he asserted that he would not be intimidated. He stated that if the legal battle continues, he would not back down.
