Mouli Tanuj Prasanth, an young emerging comedic talent who also shot to fame with the latest web series, #90’s In ETV Win is known for his engaging content on Mouli Talks, his personal YouTube channel. However, Mouli found himself embroiled in controversy following a casual remark made about the capital city of Andhra Pradesh during a college event. 

Mouli during his comedy skit cracked a joke about AP Capital, which boils down to the meaning of Andhra Pradesh doesn't have an capital. As the political heat is escalating with upcoming elections, Mouli's seemingly harmless comments triggered YCP supporters and they attacked him on various social media platforms.

Mouli took to his social media accounts to issue a public apology, "My intention was never to cause offense with what was intended as a harmless joke. If my words have inadvertently caused any distress, I sincerely apologize. My sole objective is to spread joy through my comedy, and I earnestly request that my family not be dragged into this matter."

Many advices Mouli to refrain from engaging in political commentary, and to maintain a neutral stance, as he is just starting his career. The incident once again reminds how delicate certain issues are and the importance to maintain balance so that the entertainment and media people can navigate through political situations without any repercussions.
