In a commendable move, the Telangana government has decided to recognize and felicitate Chiranjeevi and other Padma Awardees. Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy personally extended the invitation to Chiranjeevi and Venkaiah Naidu through Tourism and Culture Minister Jupally Krishna Rao. Minister Rao had the privilege of meeting and honoring Chiranjeevi at Annapurna Studios and Venkaiah Naidu at his residence in Jubilee Hills on a memorable Friday.

Adding to the distinguished list of awardees, Padma Shri recipients from Telangana, including Dasari Kondappa, Gaddam Sammaiah, Ananda Chary, Kurella Vitalacharya, and Kethavath Somlal, recognized for their contributions to literature and education, will also be acknowledged during this prestigious event. the felicitation ceremony will be taking place at Shilpakala Vedika, Hyderabad from 10 AM on 4 Feb 2024.

It's noteworthy that this state government accolade stands apart from the upcoming function planned by the Telugu Film Chamber of Commerce, which is yet to unveil details about its own event.
